printmaking assignment number two. the assignment idea was to create some kind of Utopia. My utopia was based on a photo i had taken earlier in Silverton Colorado. I guess my idea was pretty much to comment on whether i could really be happy or not in complete solitude. some times i think i could do it other times i realize how much i need to just be around people. this project was kind of the middle ground of when i couldn't do screen at all and when i decided to stop trying to line things up and just go for the gold. so, yes, that white space is supposed to be there but at this point it just looks kind of dumb. eh. the monoprinting part in the mountain was very very fun |
